    Such a wonderful place in La Rochelle! The staff is very friendly, the wines are unique and the peanuts are a great snack addition. I spent so much time here when I studied in LR, and I met a lot of wonderful people here as well. Such a unique and genuine place! I just wish the French used toilet seats!!!!!!!

    What a concept and it is one of the most popular places in this little seaside town.  It is only open for about 3 or 4 hours and when it opens the masses descend on this spot that looks like a cave.  We got there right when they opened and stood at the side of the bar and ordered 2 different bottles of spirits.  One was green apple and the other was lemon.  After we drank the two bottles of alcohol that kind of taste like a sparkling limoncello that is made on site, poured out of tapped wine barrels we were happily woozy and that is when we ventured out for further exploration of this wonderful town.
